Food is a key part to our survival, yet we are eating with very little consciousness... 

In the East Meets West course we'll delve deep into the world of nutrition. We'll touch on our personal relationship with food, the effects of stress on our digestion and how to eat for your specific body type.  We'll also look at eating for specific physical symptoms from depression and anxiety, to arthritis and high cholesterol.

A life changing course not to be missed.

This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in enhancing their mind, body, spirit and overall wellbeing.

What will I learn on the course

Specialised Diets & Food Intolerances

We will cover the health benefits and downsides of omnivorous,

vegetarian and vegan diets as well as the most common food intolerances.

Eating for your body type 

Find out about your specific body type based on eastern sciences and learn which foods support you best

Supplements & Superfoods 

Get an honest and professional insight into supplements, superfoods, their advantages and disadvantages and the pro’s and cons including them in your diet


The Yoga of Eating

Learn how our thoughts, actions and mind control the health of our body and the way we digest food

Question & Answers

As we are in small groups there is plenty of time for personal attention and getting many of your questions answered. 




As places on the courses are limited, in order to guarantee your space, a full, cleared payment is required 1 week prior to a course commencing. If for any unexpected reason you can't make the course and cancellation is more than 2 weeks before the date of the course, please contact me with your name and reference number at kay@kayvanbeersum.com. You will have a choice of either transferring to another course at the later date or a refund will be made (course fee minus admin). Unfortunately I cannot offer refunds on places cancelled within less than two weeks’ notice.

Kay van Beersum reserves rights to cancel a course at any time prior to the workshop commencing, if there are not enough participants (minimum 15), or if the course leader is ill. In that case a choice of a full refund or a place on an alternative date will be offered.
